Hello! My name is Evelyn and I am a Salesforce Certified Administrator and Developer.
I got my start in programming in 2009 when I took Freshman Engineering Computing for a Chemical Engineering degree. Later on, I found out that I was better at writing code than I am at physics, so I started working as a data analyst and database administrator. After years of alternating work and school, I am finishing up my degree in Network Engineering and Systems Management and working full time.
I got into Salesforce purely by accident. I was originally hired on at my current company as a Java/J2EE developer, but was quickly reskilled into Salesforce to meet business demands. I fell in love immediately. You mean to tell me that I can assign a variable with a SQL query? Amazing. The best. I love it. Almost a year later, I have been the architect of several solutions that I haven’t been able to find online. So, I’m starting a blog to share the wealth.
When I’m not scouring the internet for Salesforce programming solutions or doing homework, I enjoy knitting, playing roller derby, walking the dog, and annoying my three cats. When I have a rare free night, you can catch me out with my husband drinking craft beers somewhere snooty.
